Healing Is Not Impossible

Childhood wounds (parents' divorce, abuse, neglect) are some of the most difficult wounds to heal. But however difficult, healing is not impossible. The key to healing is surrendering our lives to God and forgiving those who caused us pain. Even if they never say "I'm sorry!!", you are free because you forgave in spite of that fact. And if they ever DO apologize, GIVE GOD PRAISE!! Because now, not only have you been healed, but God has healed them too. :) Colossians 3:13, " Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others" (NLT). .

OUR PAIN AND OUR PAST

The brain can't forget. The question is not whether or not we forget, but what to do with what we remember. Learn how to carry your memories. Your past isn't your past if it is affecting your present. The Apostle Paul says in Philippians 3:13-14, "No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us" (New Living Translation). Don't live or dwell in the past. Live for Jesus and focus on His plan for your life. He wants you to have life more abundantly and not be adversely affected by the pain of your past. Keep your eyes on Jesus, knowing there is a reward at the end of the race.

All That Matters Is Love...

When will we learn that all of our work; all of our labor; all of our time and energy in doing the work of the ministry is all for LOVE? When will we learn that what we do is not about wearing a title, but it's all for LOVE? It doesn't even matter how much formal education we have had, because the Holy Spirit is our teacher and our guide. What matters is LOVE. The work we do for the Kingdom has nothing to do with how eloquently we preach or how well we teach. The work we do is based on how many people we REACH. The first thought after talking to the Father in the morning should be, "How many people can I tell about Jesus today?" If we spend MORE time doing our part to reach the lost, we will have LESS time to boast about what we do and criticize others for what they are not. When I stand before God, the only person that I can give an account for is ME. And at that appointed time, may the life that I lived speak for me, because all I ever seek to do is LOVE. Love Is th

FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU...

Genesis 3 tells us that one of the first emotions experienced after the Fall was FEAR. Many times the things we fear most are the things we can’t see. “I can’t see the end of the road so I won’t travel it”. “I can’t see how my story will end, so I won’t write it”. “I can’t see my dream coming to pass, so I won’t pursue it”. Fear of the unknown has stopped many dreams dead in their tracks. Ministries never get started; songs are written, but we never hear the melody and the gift on the inside of you lies dormant; largely due to fear of what PEOPLE will say, do or think. But God has not given us the spirit of fear. Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “There is nothing to fear but fear itself”. Our Father says, “FEAR NOT, for I am with you” (Isaiah 40:10). God assures us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. So go ahead, pursue your dreams, and have NO FEAR. Put your trust in the Lord, for He knows what the end is going to be.

A Blessing for Madi.....

Image
For my beloved Granddaughter, Madisyn Janae Daniels: God watched you from conception to birth. All the different stages of your life are spread out before the Lord. He prepared the days of your life before you even lived one single day. Our heavenly Father loves you, and He has given you the grace to love Him. You will grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. I bless you and ask the Father to lead and guide you in all that you do, and give you peace. “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well” (Psalm 139:13-14).

SMILE....IT'S MORNING!!!

Don’t stop pursuing your passion. There is a process for every purpose and sometimes that process consists of pain. Know that in the mist of the pain, in the mist of trials, in the mist of struggles, God is making a way where there seems to be no way. The enemy, the adversary, the devil, would try to come in to destroy, divert, and discourage. But don’t allow the devil to keep you from your destiny. All you have to do is give all your worries and cares to God and trust Him to see you through. Tears may flow, but only for a little while. “…Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5). SMILE…IT’S MORNING!! :)
