Your Labor Is Not In Vain

As I looked on the table next to my seat this morning in service, I noticed a letter from a state prison facility. I opened the letter to find that it was written by a inmate, incarcerated for a little more than ten years, who listens to our COMMAND YOUR MORNING broadcast every morning at 5am. He shared his testimony of going from gang banging, robbing, and doing drugs to being fully committed to God. He stated that the radio show has become a part of his morning devotion and that he is LEARNING and LISTENING every day. This is only a brief synopsis of what he shared. Anytime you are on assignment from the Lord, there will be times of intense warfare. This ministry has been no exception. Warfare creates distractions that cause you to lose focus. In fact, that is only part of the enemies goal. However, receiving testimonies like this and testimonies from so many others means that we are being effective and it will all be worth the fight. For those who may be tempted to give up when

NEVER STOP PRAYING

Image
This is my oldest daughter. Seeing her dance again is an answer to prayer!!! There is something about a MOTHERS PRAYER!!! The effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. I prayed many times that she would dance again for the glory of God. One day during service, while our dancers were dancing, I looked around for my daughter. While recording the dancers, she motions from behind the scenes!!! I encourage those who are praying for your children today. If you truly want to see results, NEVER STOP PRAYING!! (1 Thessalonians 5:17). #victorious2016 #amothersprayer #livevictoriously #iprayed #shedanced

Break Every Chain: Increasing and Building Your Faith

Tasha Cobbs sang these words: “There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain. What does it mean when chains are broken? It means that everything that has held you back, held you down, and held you hostage, no longer has the capacity to hold you. So many of us struggle because of the ‘chains of life’: brokenness, rejection, past hurts, addiction, financial issues, relationship struggles, and sickness. Many times these CHAINS keep us from fully trusting God because we see no way out or no way for these issues to be resolved. The doctor has given a bad report, the notice from the bank speaks to foreclosure, your spouse decides they want a divorce, and you are STUCK not knowing where to turn or which way to go. Negative self-talk is a chain that needs to be broken. What you say determines what you will see. In the days of slavery, people ran from ‘master’ because they saw FREEDOM even though they had not experienced it. Had the slave not made an effort to BE FREE, he ne

NO MORE "HASHTAG HEADSTONES"

I understand the public outcry when an innocent young black male is gunned down at the hands of law enforcement!! The public outcry is warranted!! Fathers and sons being stripped away from families is the devastating reality of the times in which we live. We should never minimize the tragedy of a life taken too soon! Someone recently said, "Hashtags have become the new headstones", with #AltonShelton and #PhilandoCastle added to the list; cameras capturing moments no mother should ever see. The public outcry is warranted!! There are some names, however, that are not so well known! Yet the pain of their loss stings the heart of those who knew and loved them. #KianaThomas - a 21 year old wife and mother, murdered this week at the hands of her husband. She was murdered in front of her 7 year old son. Not national news, but public outcry is warranted. #HaydenWilson and #KaydenWilson - 5 month old beautiful twin girls, murdered by their father while being held in their mot

I Am Still Waiting....

I AM STILL WAITING.... The Gift of Apostle and Prophet is still relevant to the church today!! Last Spring, 2015, a question was asked in one of my classes, "Is the Apostle and Prophet relevant to the church today? Why or why not?" My professors' response to this question is that the Apostle and Prophet was no longer needed and that the only Apostles were those who witnessed the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Upon reading his response, I asked the question, if the Apostle and Prophet are no longer relevant, can you explain Ephesians 4:11-12, which states, “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:" Ephesians 4:11-12 KJV? Also, if the only Apostles were those who witnessed the resurrection, what about Apostle Paul, Andronicus and Junia in Romans 16:7, Apollos (1 Corinthians 4:6,9), Barnabas (Acts 14:4,1

PRACTICING HIS PRESENCE

PRACTICING HIS PRESENCE... "The key to friendship with God is not changing what you do, but changing YOUR ATTITUDE about what you do. Worship is not an event to attend, but a perpetual attitude. Because God is with you all the time no place is any closer to God than THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW." (Rick Warren) “one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:6 NIV ‪#‎livelifeonpurpose‬ ‪#‎practiceHispresence
