All That Matters Is Love...

When will we learn that all of our work; all of our labor; all of our time and energy in doing the work of the ministry is all for LOVE? When will we learn that what we do is not about wearing a title, but it's all for LOVE? It doesn't even matter how much formal education we have had, because the Holy Spirit is our teacher and our guide. What matters is LOVE. The work we do for the Kingdom has nothing to do with how eloquently we preach or how well we teach. The work we do is based on how many people we REACH. The first thought after talking to the Father in the morning should be, "How many people can I tell about Jesus today?" If we spend MORE time doing our part to reach the lost, we will have LESS time to boast about what we do and criticize others for what they are not. When I stand before God, the only person that I can give an account for is ME. And at that appointed time, may the life that I lived speak for me, because all I ever seek to do is LOVE. Love Is th...

FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU...

Genesis 3 tells us that one of the first emotions experienced after the Fall was FEAR. Many times the things we fear most are the things we can’t see. “I can’t see the end of the road so I won’t travel it”. “I can’t see how my story will end, so I won’t write it”. “I can’t see my dream coming to pass, so I won’t pursue it”. Fear of the unknown has stopped many dreams dead in their tracks. Ministries never get started; songs are written, but we never hear the melody and the gift on the inside of you lies dormant; largely due to fear of what PEOPLE will say, do or think. But God has not given us the spirit of fear. Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “There is nothing to fear but fear itself”. Our Father says, “FEAR NOT, for I am with you” (Isaiah 40:10). God assures us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. So go ahead, pursue your dreams, and have NO FEAR. Put your trust in the Lord, for He knows what the end is going to be.

A Blessing for Madi.....

Image
For my beloved Granddaughter, Madisyn Janae Daniels: God watched you from conception to birth. All the different stages of your life are spread out before the Lord. He prepared the days of your life before you even lived one single day. Our heavenly Father loves you, and He has given you the grace to love Him. You will grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. I bless you and ask the Father to lead and guide you in all that you do, and give you peace. “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well” (Psalm 139:13-14).

SMILE....IT'S MORNING!!!

Don’t stop pursuing your passion. There is a process for every purpose and sometimes that process consists of pain. Know that in the mist of the pain, in the mist of trials, in the mist of struggles, God is making a way where there seems to be no way. The enemy, the adversary, the devil, would try to come in to destroy, divert, and discourage. But don’t allow the devil to keep you from your destiny. All you have to do is give all your worries and cares to God and trust Him to see you through. Tears may flow, but only for a little while. “…Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5). SMILE…IT’S MORNING!! :)

Love Thy Neighbor

When my neighbors stopped by today to drop off a batch of cookies, I was reminded of what the Bible teaches in Mark 12:31, to "love thy neighbor as thyself". It is a blessing to have neighbors that stop by to see what you need, to bring food to show how much they care, to visit their home or they come to your home for Bible study or prayer. But our neighbors are not only the people living next door, our neighbors are the people we come in contact with each and every day; our co-workers, employers or employees; the person you see standing on the corner holding a sign that says, "Family in Need"; the young mother who has to move into a shelter with her children to escape an abusive situation. What about the person you have been holding a grudge against for years, but can't remember why you got angry in the first place? That person is your neighbor, too. The Lord says in Leviticus 19:18, ""Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, b...

Embrace God's Love.....Today

Today is Thursday; a day of transition. Wednesday has been declared hump day, but on Thursday, we get over the hump and transition from the weekday to the weekend. Each morning when we awake we should embrace God’s love. His love is new every morning and to embrace it means to have joy. It means to be thankful to Him and bless His name. Yesterday is gone; tomorrow is not promised. This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. So on today, no matter what obstacles get in your way; no matter what people might say or do to hurt you, remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength. Don’t look at your situation; look at your Savior. His promises are your protection and in Him should you put your trust (Psalm 91:4). Smile Strong
